Geoffrey Crewe – Managing Director

Geoffrey commenced his career in Perth, where he rose to management positions before moving to Melbourne in 1978 to take up the position of Melbourne Manager with Norwich Winterthur.

In 1980, he commenced Crewe Consulting which re-branded to Certainty Financial in 2002, after the acquisition of three other businesses.

Geoffrey is well known and highly regarded in the financial services sector for his integrity and business building skills.

Terry Dickens – Director  

Terry has had nearly 30 years experience in the Australian financial services market. He was one of the founding directors of Lees NSP, playing a key role in its growth and market penetration until sold to a major institution (Tyndall Life) in 1992.

He broadened his experience by working with Tyndall Life in both State and National Distribution Manager roles before turning his talents to the start-up and management of his own Financial Planning and Corporate Client Practice.

In the early 2000's his business was acquired by Certainty Financial.

Michael Smith - Director

Mike has been consulting in the financial services industry since 1983. He initially worked with financial institutions in the product management of risk and investment based products, before establishing a successful corporate superannuation consulting practice throughout the 1990s.

His business was acquired by Certainty Financial in 2001. As a specialist in superannuation, Mike has addressed numerous business forums and associations on the changing nature of superannuation in the workplace.

David Wilson - Director

David entered the Financial Services industry in 1991 after completing his Bachelor of Business at Monash University.  His start up business, Active Risk Management Group Limited, operated successfully from inception in 1994 until acquired by Certainty Financial in 2003.

David has specialised in the Group Risk market since 1996 and he is widely recognized at the forefront of corporate advice and product development in this area.

Mark Young - Director

Mark entered the Financial Services Industry in 1994 having gained experience at senior management positions in Manufacturing, Aviation, and the Charity sector.  After 5 years as a Senior Distribution Manager with Tyndall Life, Mark became a partner in PlanTech Consulting.  PlanTech became the market leader for Insurance Software Solutions for Advisers and was acquired by Iress Market Technologies in 2007.
